Selene is an Italian documentary photographer and investigator with a strong vision raised on the Italian Dolomites and based in London and Berlin.
She has studied at the British Academy of Photography and is working as a freelance, when not represented by different agencies.
With a background in grassroots activism, her work spans issues relating to social justice, anthropology, human rights, feminism, the environment and food production.
She’s committed to in-depth research, slow journalism and an ethos of solidarity, and this informs her approach to documentary projects.
